We use Our Sunday Visitor’s “Call to Faith”, approved for use in the United States by the Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). The schedule and calendar for Grade 1 through 8 and Confirmation are prepared at the Religious Education Office and adhere to the Catholic Diocese of Arlington Religious Education Policies and Guidelines.

Sessions at the Church :
Mondays, 5:00- 6:15 pm – Elementary School (Grades 1-4)
Mondays, 6:30-7:45 pm – Middle School (Grades 5-8)

Wednesdays, 5:00 – 6:15 pm – Elementary School (Grades 1-4)
Wednesdays, 6:30- 7:45 pm – Middle School (Grades 5-8)

Homebased Religious Education

Home Based Teaching is an option for families who have scheduling difficulties or who prefer to teach their own children. Each family decides on the day and time to have their weekly class in their own home.  Due to the importance of the sacramental preparation years, 2nd grade (1st Communion) and 7th & 8th grade (Confirmation) do not have the option of homeschooling.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, otherwise known as RCIA, is for those who want to become a Roman Catholic or those who have already been Baptized, but did not receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

If you are interested, please contact the parish office (540) 891-7350 on how the process works.
