Homebased Religious Education

Home Based Teaching is an option for families who have scheduling difficulties or who prefer to teach their own children. Each family decides on the day and time to have their weekly class in their own home.  Due to the importance of the sacramental preparation years, 1st and 2nd grade (1st Communion) and 7th & 8th grade (Confirmation) do not have the option of homeschooling.  An exception is possible for 2nd graders who are full time homeschooled in an approved curriculum.

RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, otherwise known as RCIA, is for those who want to become a Roman Catholic or those who have already been Baptized, but did not receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

If you are interested, please contact the parish office (540) 891-7350 on how the process works or email info@stjudechurch.us.
